Why is it so addicting?

Im usually not into this style of game, even app games. But I was drawn here from twitch and the art style caught my attention. A couple of hours into it, I felt the satisfaction of upgrading and combining allies. You constantly get rewarded without even investing money into the game. You can really play at your own pace, without feeling like its a constant grind. I recommend this game if you want to kill time and just see your allies grow.
